The Racquet Club
- Client: The Racquet Club of Palm Springs
- Project: Corporate Identity & Web Design & Development
- Objective: Develop an online & offline presence for the one-of-a-kind, historic home development in Palm Springs
- Live Site: theracquetclub.com
Chic. Sophisticated. Sexy. Zuno supplied a site that exuded the style and class of the development. Floorplans served as tools for realtors and an interactive timeline of their history coupled with the use of authentic, vintage photographs of past residents such as Marilyn Monroe and Clark Gable served as distinct selling points.
Challenges
To simultaneously convey the timelessness of the historic landmark and the chic, modern living spaces that are now available for purchase.
To display floor plans for over 50 residences (most with multiple levels) in an easy-to-use and informative way.
Strategy
In order to better convey the history of The Racquet Club and what makes it truly special, Zuno Studios implemented original photographs taken during The Racquet Club’s golden era and melded them with photographs that represent what one’s life could look like if they resided there today. This combined with the sleek, sophisticated Flash design make the website a great selling tool for those wanting to reach potential buyers. A tool that Zuno created specifically for realtors was an easy-to-update and robust floor plan section with the use of Flash and dynamic XML.
Awarded: In 2007 Zuno received the W3 Gold Award for The Racquet Club's website. The W3 Awards honor creative excellence on the web and recognize the creative and marketing professionals behind winning sites, videos and marketing programs.
