Advinylize™ is helping the environment out - 1 billboard at a time! Advinylize™ is a cutting edge product line that takes retired outdoor billboard ads and repurposes (or "recycles") the used vinyl to make unique, 'green' promotional merchandise for companies and events such as Toyota and Opportunity Green.
Challenges
A new product line, Advinylize™ needs to create brand awareness, in an especially difficult time for the promotional products industry. With marketing budgets being slashed, and companies cutting down on all spending that isn't absolutely necessary, it is critical to use various marketing tools in order to have further reach.
Veterans in the promotional products industry, the team at Your Promo Place, (the creator and exclusive carrier of Advinylize™), has a very good understanding of what corporate companies are looking for in the current economic climate. However, they want to step into the social media arena to build an online community that will help spread the word about this unique product line.
Strategies
Zuno Studios consulted with Advinylize™ to determine which set of social media tools would be the best vehicles to reach their online audience and build communities in. A strategic social media marketing plan was developed around the use of these tools in order to help drive traffic back to the Advinylize™ blog and website. Zuno Studios assisted the Advinylize™ team in setting up various social communites and consults on social media etiquette, the use of social media tools and best practices for community management on an ongoing basis.
